Getting to Whaleshark Beach
HOW TO GET THERE
Located in South Ari Atoll, Dhigurah can be accessed by a 20 minute seaplane/domestic flight or a 2 hour speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, both methods of transport, a way to see the tropical paradise that is the Maldivian island nation.
The airport is connected by bridge to the capital city Male’ and easily accessed by public ferry or taxi. If you are already travelling within the Maldives and wish to drop by Dhigurah, please contact us @ (insert email & number) and we will arrange a private transfer.
Please note that when the weather is particularly bad, domestic flights will be your only option as the sea can get quite rough.
PUBLIC SPEEDBOAT
The speedboat takes you from Velana International Airport (VIA) to Dhigurah with a stop at Dhangethi inbetween, which is the island right next to Dhigurah

A domestic flight takes you from Velana International Airport (VIA) to Maamigili Airport (VAM), from where a taxi takes you to Maamigili harbour and a 20 minute speedboat ride later, you are in Dhigurah.
